I am a guitar player and also compose with bass and keys. I co-founded several bands, including the blue nudes, a northeast favorite pop/funk outfit, and helped write and produce their debut (and to date, only) CD release, Hobo Was Here. I served as personal assistant to legendary jazz composer and conductor William Russo and was band manager for his premier of the first complete live performance of Sketches of Spain. I co-scored the independent shorts Inspiration and The Print, and do semi-regular studio recording for music partners TVP Records. I recently sat in with one of their acts, The Head, for a show at the Red Door in Portsmouth, supporting their recent release, The Head and laying down a track or two for the latest, Garage Funk. Up next is the long-awaited science fiction rock opera 2069, in the grand tradition of Dude, Via Galactica, and Styx’s Kilroy Was Here.
Garage Funk showcases R&B and Hip Hop with raw mixes and smooth vox and a smidgen of guitar from me. It’ll keep the party going to the break-a break-a dawn.
I’ll be acting and playing guitar at the Schomburg Library in a reading of Quanda Johnson’s new play about Langston Hughes, Musing Hughes, for the Classical Theater of Harlem.
The analog tapes from the studio sessions for Hobo Was Here are here in my office, waiting to head to a specialty studio where they will be baked in an oven and then re-spun for digital capture and remixing, correcting the mixing errors we were unable to back in 1992. Check in here to be the first to hear about our upcoming boxed set, including songs from our original 4-track demo album and never-released live material!

coming (fairly) soon - the long-awaited science fiction rock opera 2069, in the grand tradition of Dude, Via Galactica, and Styx’s Kilroy Was Here.
After long hours of editing, the video for “Why” by The Head is being released. Photo is of me (editor) and the, Buck (producer/performer) and The Fuzzy Hustler a.k.a Big Fuzz (director), and is a link to see the vid.
