October 16, 2008 9:22 PM
I will be appearing in a new (very) short play, Modern Leper by Lucy Thurber on 10/21, 10/24 and 10/25 as part of EST/Youngblood’s fifteenth anniversary version of the Still Asking For Trouble festival of shorts. Details follow (I’m in SERIES B):
For fifteen years Youngblood has been an artistic home for the best and the brightest of New York's up and coming young playwrights. To celebrate our fifteenth season, we've invited them all back for our biggest ever ASKING FOR TROUBLE.
Last Wednesday, the writers - current members and alumni - drew the names of a director and cast from a hat, along with a song to inspire them. Thus artistically challenged, they wrote a short play in under a week. And after just five days of breakneck rehearsal, next week you can come see them all in the biggest new play festival in Youngblood's history.
