independent film

I wrote and co-produced the 30-second spot In My Country for MoveOn.org's heralded "Bush in 30 Seconds" contest, a top-scoring finalist that was seen round the globe and on CNN and lauded on NPR and in Slate magazine. This was the first production of the boutique production company Outpost 7 LLC, which has gone on to produce work for MTV and Rock the Vote, Mediachannel, and others. Our latest production is a short film titled 43 Days which traces the story of a runaway teen. It received a "Platinum - Best in Show" Aurora Award and is currently being used by the Salvation Army, the National Runaway Switchboard, the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, and many other state and local agencies, foster care programs and police departments across the country as a training tool. I edited the short film Character Assassins and just finished editing a high-definition music video for an independent label.
